Popidy in training

This was Popidy's (Ryan's dad) fire hat that he wore as a firefighter in NJ. Cayden now has it hanging in his room. Isn't he adorable!

Yeah for two! Joella is a super special girl who is definitely growing up TWO fast........pun intended :) She loves to play with her big brother, cooking in the toy kitchen. I know she will be a good mommy someday cause she loves to wrap and feed her baby dolls. She will hold her baby and rock back and forth humming a song.....so sweet. Her favorite songs, and the only ones she knows are Jesus loves me and Happy Birthday. She loves to play ready-set-go by lining up on one side of the room and running into your arms, one of my favorites too. If Daddy is sitting on the floor she has to sit in his lap, it doesn't matter if he is in the middle of a wrestling match with brother. And Daddy just loves this! Joella also loves to play Hide and Seek, only her version is just to curl up in a ball beside you saying "hide hide hide" then we throw a blanket over search to find her.

She has gotten into more of the two-year-old having a few fits, I see it similar to turning on a light switch. Everything will be going just fine then something didn't go quite her way and SWITCH....melt down time.

We celebrated her birthday on Saturday night with some of her closest friends. I found this cake online and thought it was so cute and prefect for a 2nd birthday since there are two flip flops. They turned out pretty good.

Very excited for ice cream too!

All the girls got to have their toe nails painted and little stickers put on. While the boys got some tattoos.

It was a great party and we feel so blessed to have so many friends and family who also love your little girl. She is such a joy.

1st day of preschool

Cayden is signed up for a Co-op homeschooling group called A.R.C.H.E. He has two preschool classes he is in, Fun & Games and Discover God's World with Boz the Bear. We go every Friday, each class is an hour long. Each parent must stay and volunteer, so Joella and I get to hang out in the nursery for a while. Cayden loved his second class but was a bit nervous the first one which is understandable since he knows nobody yet.
