puppy

I haven't blogged about our puppy. She is getting big so fast. I stated this post forever ago and she just keeps getting bigger. But who doesn't love puppy photos even if they are waaaay old by now!

Kayle Rose was born Feb 13 with 11 other brothers and sisters. They were all an accident as the mother was suppose to be spayed within a few days. But what a happy accident!
The kids loved being able to pick out a puppy to bring home.

Ahhhhh

Not sure what the cat thinks!
Getting bigger, doesn't quite fit in my lab.

Found Cayden sleeping on the floor and Kayle on the bed?!?!?!

camping

The last weekend of June we got away for a camping trip. Ryan's folks were visiting and we found a great place about an hour and half south of us. The campsites were near the lake where the kids were able to go fishing and the dogs did some swimming. They also had a great playground and three pools. We really enjoyed ourselves and didn't want to leave!

We replaced the old pop up camper with a new one....a bit bigger and more comfortable with Missouri camping (air conditioning).

The kids love that there are bunk beds in the back. Cayden is peeking out the window.

Bo (Ryan's parents dog) and Kayle have so much fun playing around. Kayle thinks Bo is her personal chew toy. Got your tail!

It has helped having Bo around in the training of Kayle. Here they are taking turns playing fetch. Labs are so smart.

Kayle thought it was more fun to play keep away with the ball.

she loves piggy back rides too.....

The best is watching them swim in the water. What Lab doesn't love to get wet!

Ready, Set, Go!

Good thing dogs can't read!

fishing

For Memorial day we took a trip to Illinois. Ryan works with a guy that has some property with ponds. We packed up a picnic lunch and had fun fishing. I think Joella caught the most!

Popidy helped Cayden.

weekend in KS

We had a great visit with my parents celebrating Easter weekend. We meet up at a camp ground in Milford Lake, KS.

Kayle discovered what waves were. It was very cute.

All the kids loved playing in the sand. We got there on Friday and it was warm enough the kids couldn't help but go in the water.

My father used to always say "Laura, what time is is?" "NAP TIME!"

And we had to do some egg hunting.

Kayle found a chew toy to entertain herself.

Love ya Dee dee and Papa! Can't wait till next year.
